McCray V2 Clip-on

What does the light blue tint do? The light blue clip-on uses a mild 10 to 30% tint designed to reduce overall brightness, soften harsh contrasts, and cut reflections from screens and artificial lighting. Unlike stronger therapeutic tints, it preserves natural color perception, making it a comfortable option for patients who need relief without a noticeable change in how they see.

When should I recommend it? This clip-on is best suited for patients who spend significant time in front of computers, tablets, or phones and report mild eye fatigue, tension headaches, or end-of-day visual discomfort. It is an accessible entry point for light-sensitive patients who find stronger tints like FL-41 or medium red too intense for daily indoor use, and an excellent recommendation for patients who simply want more visual comfort without a medical-grade solution.

What makes McCray different? Every clip-on is individually measured to the patient's existing frame and handmade in Canada. Your patient keeps the frame they already rely on and gains an effortless, everyday companion for screen-heavy environments. Optical practices and dispensaries across Canada work with McCray through a simple process: send us the frame, we craft the clip-on, we return it ready to dispense.
